Wheel throwing, hand building, glazing, and open studio time. A dedicated ceramics space in the heart of Houston, built for beginners and experienced potters alike.
Houston has always been a city where people build things. We're adding a proper pottery studio to the mix -- a space where you can learn to throw on the wheel, build by hand, and develop your craft at your own pace.
Whether you're picking up clay for the first time or you've been potting for years and need studio access, this is your space. Small classes, quality equipment, and a community of makers who care about the work.
Located in Houston with the bayou city's creative energy and good people at the next wheel over.
“There's nothing like pulling a finished piece out of the kiln. That moment when the glaze turns out exactly how you hoped -- or better than you expected.”— What it's all about
Structured classes for all skill levels, plus open studio memberships for potters who want to work on their own time.
Learn to center, pull, and shape clay on the wheel. Six-week sessions with small groups and individual attention.
Slab construction, coil building, and pinch pots. A great starting point for beginners or anyone who wants to work off the wheel.
Over 45 glaze colors in our studio library. High-fire stoneware, cone 6 electric and gas reduction, food-safe and durable for everyday use.
Monthly memberships with flexible studio access. Bring your own clay or purchase from us. Work at your own pace on your own projects.
Monthly events pairing pottery with local food and drink. A relaxed way to try the wheel and meet other creative people in Houston.
Weekend workshops designed for children and families. Hands-on clay projects in a supportive, creative environment.
We cap every class at twelve students. That means you actually get hands-on guidance, not a crowded room where you're left figuring it out on your own. Our instructors are working potters who teach because they genuinely love sharing the craft.
This isn't a franchise or a paint-and-sip spinoff. We're building a dedicated ceramics studio that serves this community -- a place where serious potters and curious beginners both feel welcome. Good equipment, quality clay, and a space designed for the work.
Our glaze palette draws from the Houston landscape -- bayou greens, Gulf Coast blues, warm terracottas, and the golden tones of a Texas sunset. All food-safe, all cone 6.
18 Brent wheels, 3 electric kilns plus a gas reduction kiln, a well-stocked glaze lab, and proper ventilation. Everything you need to make work you're proud of.
A studio is only as good as the people in it. We're building a space where potters support each other, share techniques, and enjoy the process together.
Be the first to know when we open. Waitlist members get early access to classes.
